Hi Jan, Thank you for the service. The brass rails have arrived this morning. They are going to replace missing rails in my 1930's themed house. I am a stickler for trying to be as authentic as possible as I feel that this period was one of excellence with regard to the quality and design of household objects. The curtains have actually been made into seat covers. As you rightly indicated in your description they are suitable to be used as upholstery material. This is to report my teapot arrived Friday. It's just beautiful! And was wrapped like the crown jewels, so it's in perfect condition. It's just a tiny bit different from my original pot,the knobs on the feet and lid of the cozy are slightly different.
