J & G Meakin 1950s 'Misty Morn' Grace and Lyric Shaped Ceramic Lidded Serving Dish (Base mark SOL 391413). Beautiful design in Aqua on an Ivory Background of delicate Branches with a Blue Blossom. Very attractive with a definite Eastern influence! Gilt edge and decoration to top of Knob. Plain Aqua Ceramic Base with shaped Handhold to either side.
